CLIMATE
Guadalajara’s weather tends to be rainy this time of year, but it is not necessary to bring a coat. A light sweater or blazer is enough.
SECURITY
If you are leaving your hotel after 7:00 PM, it is recommended to use apps such as Uber or Didi to transport yourself. Google Maps is also a very safe app to know the streets of the city.
EXCHANGE HOUSES
In the city center there is the best price for currency exchange. On López Cotilla and Ramón Corona streets there are many exchange offices with better prices than those at the airport.
PLACES OF INTEREST
- San Pedro Tlaquepaque: Find places like El Parian de Tlaquepaque, to try all kinds of alcoholic beverages, art galleries, museums, local food, crafts, and exhibitions.
- Historic Center
It is recommended to visit emblematic places such as the Cabañas Museum, Degollado Theater, Plaza de Armas and the Guadalajara Cathedral.

Dress for the event
The dress code will be “business casual” for most occasions (you can find examples of clothing for women and men in the attached image). However, we ask that you keep in mind that the opening on Tuesday night will have formal attire.
